PROPERTY

Prime Hunting Land in Alabama’s Black Belt

White Oak Creek Lodge is located in Alabama’s well-known Black Belt region, an area recognized for producing trophy whitetail bucks and supporting strong wildlife populations. Situated in Barbour County just south of Eufaula, our property offers a combination of natural habitat and long-term land management that creates ideal hunting conditions.

White Oak Creek flows into Lake Eufaula and branches throughout the property, forming natural travel corridors and water sources that support both deer and turkey. This environment plays a major role in maintaining consistent game movement and healthy populations.

Our goal is to provide a hunting property that delivers a rewarding and reliable experience while preserving the quality of the land for years to come.

LAND MANAGEMENT

Strategic Hunting Setup and Land Management

110+ Hunting Stands

We maintain more than 110 stands across the property, placed in areas with consistent activity. These locations are based on years of observation and experience.

48 Game Plots

Our 48 food plots are planted in both spring and fall to provide reliable food sources throughout the year. These plots play a key role in attracting and holding game on the property.

Year-Round Feeding Program

We use spin feeders filled with corn to support game populations and maintain consistent movement patterns. This helps ensure that deer remain active within the property boundaries.

Natural Habitat and Water Sources

With White Oak Creek running throughout the land, the property offers natural water access and travel routes that support healthy wildlife behavior.

WHITE OAK CREEK LODGE

A Property Managed for Trophy Whitetail Deer

We support a strict trophy deer management program to ensure long-term success and quality hunting opportunities. All bucks taken must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • At least 4 points on one side
  • Minimum 16 inches wide, measured outside the ears

This standard helps protect younger deer and allows them to mature into future trophy bucks. Maintaining discipline in the field is essential to preserving the quality of our herd.

We encourage all hunters to respect these guidelines. Protecting the future of the property ensures better hunting for everyone. Dead bucks do not grow, and our focus is on creating opportunities for mature deer.

3,000+ Acres of Managed Hunting Land

White Oak Creek Lodge includes more than 3,000 acres of carefully managed hunting land. The property is designed to support both deer and turkey through a combination of natural habitat and active land management practices.

Our approach focuses on creating an environment where wildlife can thrive while providing hunters with consistent opportunities. The size of the property allows for a variety of hunting setups and reduces pressure on any single area.

Low-Pressure Hunting Environment

To maintain the quality of the hunting experience, we limit the number of hunters on the property to no more than six at a time. This approach prevents over hunting and allows game to move naturally without excessive pressure.

By controlling the number of hunters, we create a more productive and enjoyable environment where each guest has a better opportunity to succeed.
